Using Namechan
These terms apply to your use of namechan.com and its domain search, availability, generation, and account features. By using Namechan, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to agree to these terms and comply with applicable laws.
Domain results and third-party services
Namechan provides informational domain search results. Availability, WHOIS information, and prices come from third-party sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. A displayed available domain is not reserved for you. Verify availability, prices, renewal fees, and purchase conditions directly with the registrar before making a purchase. Registrations and payments take place with the registrar under its own terms. Namechan does not guarantee that a suggested domain is free of trademark or other third-party rights.
Accounts
Provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account. Google sign-in, where available, is also subject to Google’s applicable terms. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. Creating a normal account does not grant administrative access.
Acceptable use
Do not use Namechan for unlawful activity, infringe others’ rights, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent rate limits or security controls, or overload the service. Do not submit sensitive personal information in domain search fields. We may limit or suspend access to address abuse, security risks, or violations of these terms.
Privacy and ownership
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. You retain any rights you hold in your submitted content and permit us to process it as needed to provide the requested service. Namechan branding and site content remain the property of their respective owners. These terms do not grant rights to third-party trademarks or domain names.
Availability and responsibility
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for evaluating results before acting on them. To the extent permitted by law, Namechan is not responsible for indirect losses or missed domain registration opportunities arising from reliance on search results. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Ending use and updates
You can stop using Namechan at any time and contact us to request account deletion. We may update these terms and will publish the updated date here. Where required, we will provide notice or obtain agreement to material changes. Contact us with questions or disputes so we can try to resolve them.
